Change of Home and Image for Menter Iaith  Menter Iaith will be moving home at the beginning of December and to celebrate we'll be adopting a new logo and image. Our new address will be : First Floor, 9. High Street, Pontypridd. CF37 1QJ and from the new year this will be Menter Iaith's only office.

Going potty in Garth Olwg  The children who attend Garth Olwg Clwb Carco are lucky enough to be able to do some pottery every other Wednesday as part of the Clwb Carco's activities. The Clwb utilises Canolfan Garth Olwg's Pottery room and literally can go...potty !

Sgorio '58 Sports Clubs.  Sgorio '58 will be running an exciting after school sports club for Welsh medium primary school pupils. The clubs will commence on January 9th 2009 and will be held weekly.Initially, the clubs will be held on Friday evenings, but there are plans to extend them to Saturdays as well after Easter. here's the initial timetable :
Friday : 5.00 - 5.50pm : Tag Rugby Derbyn,Bl. 1 & Bl.2 in the Gym at Garth Olwg
Friday: 6.10 - 7.00 : Soccer on the Astroturf for Bl. 3 & 4 and Bl. 5 & 6.

Drama-Dâr - New Drama Course for Aberdare  Menter Iaith will be beginning a new Welsh language drama workshop for primary school children in the Aberdare area in the new year. The workshops will be held at the Cwmaman Institute and will be in two hour sessions, the first commencing at 4.00p.m. The Course will begin on Monday January 12th, 2009 and will run until the Summer ( with breaks for school holidays) Numbers will be limited, so if you want further information, phone 01443 226386 or 01685 882299.
